General
News
First
off Janet and I have a new granddaughter – Mya Jordan Fox. She was born
Sunday night, May 20. Mother and daughter are fine, but Mya had to spend
time back in the hospital due to fever and a galloping heart. She is fine
now. Our other granddaughter Kylie (8 years old) really loves her new
sister.
Rebel
Minis
We
have sold our line of 15mm Urban products to our neighbors just north of
us in Chattanooga – Rebel Minis (rebelminis.com).
The urban products fits well in their 15mm Pulp Adventures, Sci-fi, Gangs,
Gunmen, Hostages and More
Advertising
We
are always looking out for places to advertise. Please forward suggestions
to us.
We
are advertising on TGN (Tabletop Gaming News) and The Miniatures Page. Be
sure to check out announcements and new releases. We are sending new
releases and news to these sites.
We
will be advertising on Bring You’re a-Game (www.bringyouragamemagazine.blogspot.com)
soon. I did an interview with them as well – “Digging in with Foxhole
Terrain”. The interview is riveting, and I can’t wait for the movie.
Website Updates
We
are adding new photos of various conventions we attended through June. We
don’t have any web updates except for new releases. We will be rolling a
new look around July or August.
Suggestions
We
need suggestions to expand our current product lines and ideas for new
lines.
Sam
Thomas
has offered a number of good suggestions:
- Larger
& better ruined buildings: This is a far off project.
- Houses
for cities: This is a far off project. Hopefully next year.
- Transitions
road pieces to go from the road to open terrain: I will have this
completed this summer.
- End
sections for rivers: I will have this completed this summer.

suggested a hedgerow Army pack. I completed this on June 1.

Crusade Vs. Jihad Game System
I
am re- releasing my Crusade rules on our website this summer. The rules
are Crusade vs. Jihad. The rules will sell for $8, and will
be available in PDF format.
Conventions
If
you know of conventions near you, please let us know. We live in the
Atlanta, so the cons need to be within driving distance – around 12-15
hours max.
Recent
Conventions
Recon April 26-29
Janet
and Peter attended Recon (hmgs-south.com)
in Cocoa Beach Florida. It is a good little convention at a great
location. The folks in Florida were really good to us.
Nashcon May 25-27
Janet
and Peter got back from Nashcon (hmgs-midsouth.org),
and they had a great time. Attendance was up, and our old friends awesome
as usual. If you have never been to Nashcon then you are really missing
out. This is one of the best conventions in the south.
Rapier June 8-10
Janet
and I went to Rapier (rapiercon.com).
The Rapier folks are as nice as they come. We introduced our 15mm
WWI-style trenches and a 15mm blockhouse. Janet and Peter went last year
and had a great time. This was my first time attending. Rapier is a small
convention with some of the best games I have seen. The facility was good
and the staff are awesome.
